Today in the office of the Foundation “Health Prophylaxis”, a leading partner in the project “Youth from Bulgaria and Macedonia together for tourism as health prevention” with reference number CB006.2.23.116 under the Cross-border Cooperation Program Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-Northern Macedonia, was presented a Joint Report on Research and Analysis of Tourist Sites and Resources in Blagoevgrad District (Bulgaria) and Northeast Planning Region (Northern Macedonia) on opportunities for tourism development suitable for young people from both countries, including health, wellness and sports tourism.

The presentation was attended by Dimitar Manikatov, Manager of the Foundation and project manager, Stefan Savov – Chairman of the Board of the Regional Movement “EcoSouthWest” – executor of the study, as well as young people from Blagoevgrad and the region, who are the main target group of the project.

The presentation awarded a number of attractive tourist resources in varying degrees of development and opportunities for tourism, but with indisputable qualities in terms of health prevention, spa treatment, spa and wellness, as well as for practicing various sports. The participants were intrigued by the information provided and expressed interest in being involved in further project activities.
